Final Entry to "Continue Swimming the Adventure with a Folding Bicycle" From 2/6/19 to 6/11/19
The Final Tally of My 2019 Adventure from Marrakesh, Morocco to Dakar Senegal: 2200 miles from Marrakesh, Morocco to Dakar Senegal via trains, buses and shared taxis. I managed 80 swims (kilometers), 12 in swimming pools and 68 in open ocean. One shark and wild currents, but the rest was great. I bicycled a total of 600 miles throughout the various cities and towns along the way. This gave me a birds-eye view of these amazing off-the-beaten-path destinations. But I'm glad to be back in the Great Northwest of the United States with my sons, Todd, Ryan and Gabe. I am enjoying my very elderly pickup truck and my LA Fitness swimming pools! Catching up with friends and family as well.
