2019-02-26 My Time at Sylvia's Airbnb in Tamraght These photos of the Beach at Tamraght are from my previous blog: miketmatthews2.blogspot.com . I wanted to show you one of my top five beaches of my world. One of my favorite patisseries in my world. A tagine from one of my favorite little restaurants in my world. Half folded and ready to eat. Sylvia's quads. See the cat? She doesn't notice me taking her picture. Now she does! As I have traveled Morocco, the shepherds have been one of the most enigmatic archetypes I can ever imagine. Caught a Tamraght nest builder in action.

2019-02-21 L'Arganier Solitaire - Airbnb de Aly

2019-02-21 L'Arganier Solitaire - Airbnb de Aly This is my view from my Airbnb in Souira Kedima. Aly and his father and brothers and sister all combined their efforts to create this hotel resort in Souira Kedima. His father's passing and the local authority's resistance to development truncated further construction, but Aly has carried on the family dream by renting rooms through Airbnb. I really enjoy the venue and hospitality here.

He's at lunch so Aly told me to sit and he took a photo of me. These are bricks which are also produced here. This is amazing, this is the oven. It's a high capacity pottery cooker. That over there is the retired oven. Here is some clay being processed. Not sure how they go about it. I suppose they pulverize it while it's dry and sift out pebbles, sand etc. Then add water and it's ready to mold and work. A shaper, molding and creating clay products. These are the lids for the little seasoning bowls. Seasoning bowls and lids, kilned and coated ready to paint and re-kiln. End of Tour. Now we head fo...
