Sun is setting on Nouakchott, Mauritania. I travel to Saint Louis, Senegal tomorrow. Three weeks in Saint Louis, four weeks near Dakar, and one week in Saly. Then fly back to Seattle on June 10th to arrive on the 11th. This will be a round trip ticket with a return trip back to Dakar on February 24th, 2020. We'll see. Won't know if I'll use it. I'll at least be around long enough to watch the Seahawks win the Superbowl 😉🤗🤗
It's been a very nice stay here in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The ocean was perfect. My Airbnb was perfect. The owner bent over backwards to help me. He helped me change currency to Senegal CFRs, and procure a ride all the way to Saint Louis Senegal through the Diama border crossing (shorter distance and supposedly less crowded and corrupt than the Rosso border crossing) . He arranged a respectable bus/minivan. The route will be very scenic.
