Laayoune, Western Sahara, A Surprisingly Delightful Oasis

The staff at the Hotel Sable D'Or in Tan-tan, Morocco, helped me arrange a very nice little hotel at my next destination of Laayoune, Western Sahara. The Hotel San Mao Sahara right across the street from the CTM bus terminal, what a very nice surprise! It was also reasonably priced, clean, secure, with very polite and accommodating staff. And to boot, there in Laayoune was a very nice public pool where I got back into my swimming routine of one kilometer per day. My bicycle came in very handy here, riding at least 10 miles a day all around town, checking it out, finding food etc.
